Visit Shiri's BLOG: 'Animal Consciousness'
Ellen DeGeneres so wisely shared that "Animals are the closest thing to God" (Modern Dog Magazine, Spring 2008). Indeed animals bring us back to our connection to our ancestors and to mother nature, and with that, to something sacred within ourselves.
A gentle 'Animal Whisperer' and psychotherapist, Shiri's journey began as a young child growing up in Israel. An intuitive soul, Shiri felt a strong connection to nature and the animal kingdom. She used to invest money given to her for groceries towards bringing home animals who needed shelter. Before she knew it, Shiri was caring for ducks, cats, dogs, chicks, turtles (6!), rabbits, guinea pigs...you name it!
Feeling a burning desire to be of greater service, Shiri took a leap of faith in 2007 when she left a secure career as a child and family therapist, and a promising role as an expert and speaker within the veterinary medicine and mental health fields. Her commitment to her own journey guided Shiri to begin offering her services to humanity and the animals by healing speaking, writing, and teaching on compassion and oneness with all life.
